On a final day fit for sprinters, Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain-Victorious) won at the finish in San Benedetto del Tronto, with Pogaćar dominating the overall, points and best young rider classifications.
Pogačar said, "I enjoyed the stage today and overall it was a great week. I was focused until the end, because it's never over until you cross the finish line.
The two stage wins were exciting. Any race where you can get a win is incredible. I'm happy to get my second win here at Tirreno-Adriatico. Now I'm taking a couple of days off and looking ahead to Milano-Sanremo which will be my next challenge."
