Tadej Pogačar did the encore at UAE Tour winning also the 7th and last stage, 148 km with start from Al Ain and uphill arrival in Jebel Hafeet (10,9 km at 6,8% of average gradient). Beating Adam Yates (Ineos-Grenadiers) at the end of an intense duel, the Slovenian rider took his third consecutive success in Jebel Hafeet and repeated the victory of the UAE Tour's general classification obtained last year. This brings Pogačar's tally of victories in 2022 to three, while the UAE Team Emirates has eight.
